the 38th round of the International Physics Olympiad, kicked off in Isfahan, central Iran, on Saturday.
About 600 people contesting students, their team observers and officials from more than 70 countries are currently in Isfahan.
The contestants are from different Asian, European and American countries such as Japan, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Brazil, Cambodia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Cyprus, France, Britain, US, Sweden, Denmark, Singapore and Vietnam.
Two iranian Filmmakers are in the process of making a three-part documentary entitled "The International Physics Olympiad" for IRIB's (Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting) Documentary Center.
"We have decided to document the event as it is the first time that Iran is hosting an Olympiad. The film will feature interviews with the organizers and the contestants", they said.
